Jemimaville or Jamima, a village at the mutual border of Resolis and Cromarty parishes, Cromartyshire, on the southern shore of the Cromarty Firth, 3 miles SSE of Invergordon and 45/8 WSW of Cromarty. Fairs are held on the first Tuesday of April, the first Wednesday of August, and the last Tuesday of October. An urn of very antique form was found, about 1830, in a neighbouring earthen tumulus.Ord. Sur., sh. 94, 1878.
