Ruyton of the Eleven Towns, par. and vil., Shropshire, on river Perry, 2½ miles W. of Baschurch and 10 miles NW. of Shrewsbury, 4698 ac., pop. 1113; P.O.; is thought to occupy the site of a Roman station, and has some remains of an old castle.
