Duntocher, small manufacturing town, Old Kilpatrick par., Dumbartonshire, on Dalmuir Burn, 9 miles NW. of Glasgow, pop. 1572; P.O.; has cotton-mills, a manufactory of agricultural implements, lime-works, coal-mines, and quarries. Duntocher has an ancient bridge, believed to be Roman, and adjoins a hill on which many Roman relics have been found.
