Marske by the Sea, town and eccl. dist. (ry. sta. Marske), Marske near Redcar par., North-Riding Yorkshire, 3 miles SE. of Redcar, pop. 3467; P.O., T.O,; is a watering-place; the population has nearly trebled since 1851, owing to the opening of ironstone mines in vicinity.
