Fannich Mountains (called the Ross-shire Alps), Ross and Cromarty; highest point, Sgurr Mor, 3¾ miles N. of Loch Fannich, alt. 3637 ft.; Fannich, Loch, extends 6½ miles E. and W.; Fannich, River, issues from Loch Fannich, and flows 6½ miles SE. to river Bran near Loch Luichart; Fannich Deer Forest embraces 17,530 ac.; on N. bank of loch, 8 miles NW. of Lochluichart sta., is Fannich Lodge.
