Fetternear House, seat of the Leslies of Balquhain, on river Don, Aberdeenshire, 1 mile NW. of Kemnay sta.; a little NW. are the ruins of the church of the ancient chapelry (1109) of Fetternear; adjacent is a Roman Catholic church (1859). The Bishops of Aberdeen had a palace at Fetternear.
