Value, £143. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is good; and there are a Wesleyan chapel, an endowed school with £28 a year, and charities £44. Ruins of an ancient chapel are at Mells.—The sub-district contains 18 parishes and an extra-parochial tract. Acres, 28,311. Pop., 8,791. Houses, 2,006.
