This has been set for all rows except the national totals, as
all other rows come from a particular county report,
but should not be used to extract county totals.
Instead, use g_unit where g_unit = cnty_unit.

This will be identical to cnty_unit for
county and city totals.
It will be empty for rows where exclude_city = Y.

Name of the county, as extracted from the
title of the particular table the row of
data was extracted from.

page_number |
Integer number. |
Number of the page within the report from
which this row of data was extracted.

area_label |
Text string (max.len.=94). |
The full text of the 'Parish' column in the
original report.
For parishes this is usually just the parish name
preceded by a number placing it in sequence within
the county, but sometimes additional information
is given.

Name of the parish, or a label indicating
another type of area.

part_of |
Text string (max.len.=5). |
Flag, holding 'P' where the data cover only
part of the unit concerned,
usually because a parish was divided between
two different counties, or between a
county and a city.

Flag, usually empty but 'Y' for rows
which should be excluded to avoid double-counting the
populations of the four Scottish cities.
These are usually county totals.
