A vision of Britain from 1801 to now.
Including maps, statistical trends and historical descriptions.
Richards' lists this unit as a separate township/civil parish from the ancient parish of Llandysilio. Evidence from maps depicting the 1960s and 1970s indicate the Urban District contained only Llandysilio parish, although it is possible it had changed by the 1980s. No boundary change is given in the Census listing for 1971 or before. Therefore the CP status has been made to start after the 1971 Census until more precise detail is obtained.
